Well, I've had an amazing week!

E3 was fun, but it's nowhere big as it used to be... I mean, just when I turned 18, E3's no longer public. It's so sad... Well, I sorta paid attention to the conferences, even though it wasn't very eye-popping, 'cept for Microsoft's surprise FFXIII announcement. Now that was a surprise, haha. Kinda bitter-sweet, but hey, you gotta sell games to a big market.
And Galaxy 2? New Super Mario Bros. 2? Pikmin 3? Animal Crossing: City Folk? WiiSpeak? Nice little preview at the "core" crowd, if I do say so myself. If Nintendo doesn't show "hardcore" titles, it's 'cause they're obviously focusing on the casual, which leads many to think they've truly abandoned us longtime fans. While that may seem like the case, I think they just don't have anything major to show. Kid Icarus Wii's on it's way and we're getting me good ol' Wario Land action, so just wait another year. E3 isn't as great as it used to be and it's now for the casual news peoples anyway, so let's just chill out for a bit. We'll get our real games soon, so until then go out and see a movie, preferably Dark Knight and WALL-E, again if you must.

The Dark Knight.. I know everybody and their friends have already said things about it, but it was just so dang amazing. Heath Leager was truly amazing... We don't get many actors like that, and we sure lost a great one. Watch him, be amazed by him, learn from him, other actors!! The bar has been raised!

Mah PS3 finally came, and boy, so I feel like I spent my money wisely. MGS4 is simply astounding. I'm about a month late, but better late than never. The graphics are really amazing and throughout the entire game you can see you're playing on a full 50 gig BluRay disk. So much dialogue, amazing cinematics, excellent story, fun and varied gameplay (you know, when you're actually playing) and a very nice satisfaction after completion leaves me very happy with the result. You've done well, Snake. You deserve your rest.
